قلعة عجلون في الاردن - Ajlun Castle in Jordan

قلعة عجلون و تسمى ايضاً قلعة الربض، بناها الأمير صلاح الدين الأيوبي صهر الملك العادل. تقع على رأس جبل في مدينة عجلون.
كان الهدف من بنائها هو الحيلولة دون إنتشار القوات الصليبية في منطقة عجلون، و إبقاء الطرق التجارية مع دمشق وشمال سوريا.
موقعها :
القلعة مبنية على شكل شبه مربع، و فيه أربعة أبراج، كل برج يتكون من طابقين. بعد معركة حطين أضيف برجان يقعان إلى يمين مدخل القلعة. والقلعة مبنية على جبل شامخ تطل على فلسطين والبحر الميت ويمكن رؤية اجمل صورة لجبال عجلون عند الوقوف على أحد الابراح الشرقية للقلعة .
تقع على قمة "جبل عوف" الواقع في الجنوب الغربي من عجلون، وترتفع 1023 مترا عن سطح البحر بناها الامير عز الدين أسامة بن منقذ، أحد قادة صلاح الدين الأيوبي عام 580 هـ : 1184م، وتشرف على المعابر الرئيسه اهمها وادي كفرنجة ووادي راجب ووادي الريان ويعتبر موقعها استراتيجيا لانها تسيطر على طرق المواصلات بين سورية وجنوب الأردن وكان الهدف من بنائها رصد تحركات الصليبيين من حصن كوكب الهواء واستغلال مناجم الحديد في جبال عجلون التي تسمى مغارة وردة.

وقدمت مديرية عجلون استمارة من خلال دائرة الآثار العامة الى المنظمة الإسلامية للتربية والعلوم والثقافة (إيسيسكو) واليونسكو لترشيح قلعة عجلون لتصبح على قائمة التراث العالمي.

وقال مدير آثار المحافظة د. محمد ابو عبيلة ان تقديم الاستمارة لترشيح قلعة عجلون على قائمة التراث العالمي جاء نظرا لكونها القلعة الاسلامية الوحيدة في الاردن وتمثل العصر المملوكي والايوبي وما زالت تحتفظ بطابعها المعماري وتعكس التقاليد المعمارية في البناء العسكري والتحصينات الدفاعية منذ القرن الثاني عشر الميلادي.

وبين ابو عبيلة ان لجنة ستقوم اليوم بالكشف عن القلعة والاطلاع على كافة المبررات التي تم ترشيحها لتصبح على قائمة التراث العالمي ما يعني انه في حال الموافقة على ذلك ستكون هناك امتيازات اضافية للقلعة سواء من حيث زيادة عدد الزوار والحصول على مبالغ مالية لتطويرها بصورة افضل.


Directorate of Ajloun form provided by the Department of Antiquities to the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and UNESCO for the nomination of Ajloun Castle to become the World Heritage List.

The director of the effects of conservative d. Mohammed Abu Abalh to submit the form for the nomination of Ajloun Castle on the World Heritage List because it was the only Islamic castle in Jordan The Ayyubid Mamluk period and still retain the architectural character and reflect the architectural traditions in the construction of military fortifications and defense since the twelfth century.

And between Abu Abalh that a committee will today disclose the castle and look at all the justifications that have been nominated to become the World Heritage List, which means that in the case of approval on it, there will be additional privileges of the castle, both in terms of increasing the number of visitors and get the amounts of money to develop them better
