منذ خمسة آلاف عام كان لدى الصينيين القدماء مفاهيمهم الخاصة عن الصحة والمرض وكانت ممارسة الطب لديهم تعتمد على أن الصحة هي توازن القوى الإيجابية والسلبية في الجسم، أما المرض فينجم عن اختلال هذه القوى وسيطرة إحداها على الأخرى، واليوم يقوم باحثون من جامعة ميسوري الأميركية بإعادة إحياء إحدى طرق هذه الممارسة الطبية الموغلة في القدم باستخدام أحدث تقنيات الحاسوب.
أطلق الصينيون القدماء على الحالة الصحية العامة للإنسان اسم «زينغ» وكانوا يستدلون عليها من خلال معايير مختلفة ومنها مظهر اللسان، واليوم يحاكي الباحثون هذه التقنية بتصميم برنامج حاسوبي يجمع بين هذه التقنية القديمة والطب الحديث لإجراء تحليل أوتوماتيكي للصور المأخوذة للسان.
يذكر الدكتور دونغ كو، رئيس قسم علوم الكومبيوتر في جامعة ميسوري والباحث المشارك في هذه الدراسة التي نشرت في مجلة Evidence Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine: «معرفة تصنيفك وفقاً لحالة الزينغ يلعب دوراً هاماً في الطب الوقائي وقبل إجراء الفحوص الطبية التقليدية».
والبرنامج الذي تم تصميمه يساعد على مد جسرٍ بين الطب الشرقي والغربي، فاختلال توازن الزينغ (وفق مفاهيم الطب الشرقي) قد ينبهنا أن علينا أن نزور الطبيب (كما تقتضي الممارسة الطبية الغربية الحديثة).» ويضيف قائلاً: «هدفنا أن نتمكن خلال العالم القادم من تصميم تطبيق خاص للهواتف الذكية تسمح لمستخدميها بإلتقاط صور لألسنتهم لمعرفة حالة الزينغ لديهم».
وتعتمد هذه التقنية الحديثة على لون اللسان والطبقة المغطية له للتمييز بين الزينغ «الحار» والزينغ «البارد»، فأطياف اللونين الأحمر والأصفر الحار مثلاً تشير إلى الزينغ الحار أما اللسان المغطى بطبقة بيضاء فيشير إلى زينغ بارد.
هذا ويؤكد « كو» على أن تعبيري الحار والبارد لا يشيران بشكل مباشر هنا إلى درجة حرارة الجسم بل إلى حالة صحية عامة، فذوو «الزينغ البارد» يرغبون بالأجواء الدافئة ويفضلون الطعام والشراب الحار، ويعانون من برودة في الأطراف وشحوب في الوجه، وكلتا الحالتين تدلان وفق الطب الصيني القديم على التهاب المعدة الذي ينجم في نسبة لا بأس بها من الحالات عن عدوى بنوع من البكتيريا تُدعى الملتوية البوابية.
وفي هذه الدراسة قام الباحثون بتحليل الزينغ عن طريق البرنامج الجديد ل 263 مريض التهاب معدة و48 متطوعاً لا يعاني من هذه المشكلة، هذا وقد تم مسبقاً معرفة زينغ المرضى وبالتالي تمكن الباحثون من اختبار مدى دقة البرنامج الحديث، كما تم تصنيف المرضى وفق شدة أعراضهم وما إذا كانوا مصابين ببكتيريا الملتوية البوابية أم لا، وأثبت الباحثون قدرة البرنامج على إنجاز هذا التصنيف بنجاح.
هذا وقد نُشرت هذه الدراسة في مجلة Evidence Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine التي تهتم بنشر الدراسات العملية الحديثة التي تتناول مواضيع الطب البديل.
